The event followed on from the success of the first Fleet Software and Cyber Security Conference held in February 2024. Bringing together the fleet and supplier communities, the focus was on what industry is doing in this space with the relaunch of the Rail Cyber Security Strategy and an update on the regulatory, engineering change, and standards landscapes. There was a discussion on generic and fleet-specific cyber security challenges, and how train operators and wider stakeholders are addressing these.

- How to navigate an evolving regulatory and standards landscape – James Walker, ORR and Darren Fitzgerald, RSSB, provided updates on what has changed and what is coming next
- Examples of what industry has been doing to respond to challenges. Northern provided a view of engineering change from an existing fleet perspective
- Workshop session for all attendees, focused on how the Rail Cyber Security Strategy applies to you and identifying any gaps for individual and industry focus
